For those of you that don’t have insurance for prescription medications, we wanted to give you a head’s up that there is a free pharmacy card that will give you up to 75% savings. This is great news as most of the companies charge for their prescription discount cards. This free discount card is from USA RX and here’s information about this free card from their site:

How Do I use the Card?
You simply bring your USA Rx discount pharmacy card along with your prescription to participating pharmacy and provide the card to your pharmacist along with your prescription. Your pharmacist will immediately be able to tell you the cost of your medication and fill your prescription.
We had a year of total self-employment and we used Samaritan Ministries (very highly recommended from us!) to help with any potential healthcare costs. But they don’t cover prescriptions under a certain dollar amount. So we looked for pharmacy discounts. At first, we were going to just pay for Walgreens in-house discount program. I can’t remember the cost, but it wasn’t the cheapest program out there and the one prescription we needed monthly did yield a savings through Walgreens program. But we looked at another option that was nearly free and when we signed up for it, we actually saved another $4 over Walgreens paid discount program….so obviously…we went with that option!
So this free program is most likely going to save you just as much or more than paid programs from places like Walgreens and other popular ones.
Even if you have another prescription savings plan, we would recommend getting this free one too as each program saves you different amounts on different prescriptions and then you at least have more savings options available for you.
