If you live near a Kroger or a Kroger affiliate store, then you might want to check out the sales that they are having this week as they are definitely news worthy!
The sales will vary slightly by region, but you can check out the printable grocery shopping list section of our site to help you get the deals.
First, here’s a snapshot of the grocery shopping lists found on our site – this is just a small snippet of the list to give you an idea of the sales this week.
They are having a promotion where if you buy 10 items, you get $5 off, which is an extra .50 off the already sale prices, and before coupons!
Secondly, there are a few catalinas that are also overlapping with this sale. The catalinas are listed at the bottom of the grocery shopping list, so when you combine this with the above sale and promotion, plus coupons, you are getting quadruple discounts to make for some awesome deals!
Here’s the catalina that you want to take notice of:
What is a catalina? Well, it is a coupon that prints at the register to take money off a certain item, or in this case, it is giving you a coupon to be used like cash on anything in the store on a future transaction! To earn Catalina’s you typically need to buy certain items, just like in this case!
With that in mind, the above shown Kraft Catalina will pair beautifully with the Kraft Promotional sale at Kroger stores this week.
Jessica from Utah Deal Diva has worked up the following scenario to get several items for only .44 each!
- Buy {4} Four Kraft Salad Dressings, $1.99 each = $7.96
- Buy {2} Kraft Singles, $1.99 each ($3.98) = $11.94
- Buy {2} Kraft Mayo, $2.99 each ($5.98) = $17.92
- Buy {2} Kraft Lunch meat or hot dogs, $2.99 each ($5.98) = $23.90
- Then save $5 instantly at checkout for buying 10 qualifying items = $18.90
- Then use two $1.00/2 Kraft Dressings coupon (-$2) = $16.90
- Then use two .25/1 Kraft May coupons from the 8/19 Smart Source Insert (-.50) = $16.40 (this is what you will pay out of pocket)
- Then receive a $10 Kraft Products Catalina back (Kroger Cash), so when considering this discount = $6.40
- Then receive a $2 Kraft Mayo catalina (Kroger Cash), so when considering this discount = final is $4.40 for all 10 items or .44 each!
In addition to this mega event sale, that sale that I am excited for is the case lot sale to get rice, beans, canned tomatoes and honey for cheap! These are things we use regularly and rarely have coupons! So if your store has a case lot sale too (only a few do!) then you might want to at least grab rice as that sells out quickly and these items are only available while supplies last!
You will want to be sure to check out the full list (head to our Grocery Store Section HERE and look under option #2 for the drop-down list of states/stores), this scenario is one good idea, but there are many items included. There were also coupons available from last month and if you printed them, they haven’t expired yet and will make the deals this week even better, so we hope you printed them when they were available in August.
Kroger has it’s Kroger stores plus the 17 affiliate chain stores and so this is nearly nationwide, but you will want to verify this deal in your local ad as they do vary slightly by region.
