It is Friday and the start of an extended weekend with the upcoming holiday! YAY! We are set for a weekend of fun and hope you are too. With Friday also comes Fun Fabulous Friday here on The Thrifty Couple.

Each week, we have had a fun topic for everyone to leave their quick comment/insight on. It has been so much fun to read the awesome tips and comments that you all have.
This week is going to be – Labor Day Fun tips! We want to hear any tip that you have on how you celebrate the weekend, i.e. BBQ’s, hikes, camping, local festivities, etc. It does not need to be a thrifty tip – but if you have one to share, please include it as you know we love those thrifty tips!

Labor Day fun! A picnic in the back yard. No crowds, a little bonfire (ya, we’re in the boonies, so we can do that), some horseshoes and volleyball, s’mores and hot dogs.
If it rains, we move the party inside!
Getting school work done and spending time with family. BE SAFE!!!

We are starting new tradition with 3 other families. Gonna go ‘camping’ in our friends’ yard, tent & all ( Well for the kids that is!)! Potluck bbq, sweets & treats, & of course smores. The adults are spending the night indoors on real beds & no bugs. That’s my kind of camping!
