simply go gurt

It is time for a NEW Giveaway!

Do your kids like GoGurt? Have you or your kids tried it yet?  Well either way, here is your chance to get a FREE box of Go Gurt and and fun lunch kit! We love the Go Gurts, especially the New Simply Go Gurt.  We always freeze them for the kids to enjoy a treat and we don’t mind this “treat” for the calcium and vitamin D that they are getting.  Many also put them in the lunch boxes in the morning and by lunch time, they have thawed and are perfect for eating and they also serve as an ice pack for the other items in the lunch box without needing an additional ice pack. It is a great easy addition to lunches. You can find out more about Go Gurt by visiting their site.

There are some coupons available to purchase GoGurt:

So here is what you are able to win to spruce up your kid’s lunches for FREE:  a prize pack filled with lunch time goodies. You will receive a coupon for a FREE box of Go Gurt, insulated lunch bag, water bottle with ice cooler, soft calculator, 2 twisty pencils, highlighters in the shape of a flower in 5 different colors, sandwich box and a fun pen with attached fan! WOW! That is a mouth full!

We were provided with one of these packs as well from Yoplait through MyBlogSpark.  The kids scarfed down their yummy Go Gurts – they love them! The funny pen fan as brought hours of enjoyment for our kids: isn’t is always the silliest things?? The soft calculator has also been quite a hit.  It really is quite cool – we just might need to snatch it as it fits perfectly in our coupon binder….hmmmmm. This pack could come in very handy for you either to give your kids hours of enjoyment :) for keeping lunches cool, having cool supplies on hand and more!

My daughters love the Blue Raspberry flavor. I am already a fan of yours on Facebook.

I have 2 tips:
Write a cute note and put in your child’s lunch. It will make them smile!
Cut their sandwich bread into different shapes

My son loves strawberry. When I give them to him, I cut the tube in half. It is much easier for him to push up the smaller tubes this way;)

Tip: If you have a particularly hectic week, make as much of the lunch ahead of time during the weekend. When I was a teaching, and we only had one car, Dh dropped me off for school long before school started, and picked me up after 6pm. I quickly learned that if I took 10 lunch sacks, labeled them with M Tu W Th F and our names … I could put in most of the lunch items (drink, chips or crackers, pudding or something, fruit, and some sandwiches … and a note if I needed to get something else into the bag – frozen pot pies or salad for instance).. and stored them together in the frig. Part of the morning routine was to put the sacked items into our lunch boxes .. add anything from the note, and we were out the door. Since I packed the sacks awake, I didn’t tend to forget anything on sleepy mornings – since I’m NOT a morning person.

My son loves all the gogert flavors. Really he likes that its drinkable lol. This year for school I plan on using gogert to help us get out the door faster if we’re running late, he can just eat it in the car.

oops our favorite flavor is strawberry -Kiwi kick. We homeschool and sometimes lunch is a busy time, so one of our favorite quick lunch meals is a tortilla roll up. Tortilla, cheese, turkey, chopped lettuce and tomato..a bit of salsa. Roll it up and eat it up!We also like baked potato bar and salad..the potatoes can be baking while I teach the children and they are ready for lunch. The children like to help pick out and fix the toppings. I like to use coupons and find GoGurt on sale and buy bunches of them and freeze them for cool treats.
We love thrifty couple for great bargains and practical tips for our family of eight.

We’ve never tried Go Gurt, so a lunch time idea…how about quesadillas and smoothies? Super cheap and easy when you make the smoothies from bananas that got too ripe, so you stuck them in the freezer. :)
